Food plays a very important, even crucial, part in the Italian culture and lifestyle; Italians are usually either talking about food, preparing food or sharing food with family and friends.

No Italian day, let alone any get-together, can be planned or imagined without food.

10-13 conversation practice | 13-16.30 light lunch and break 16.30 city tour and visit to the Campanile (optional) | 19.30 apericena

 

Day 3

10-13 conversation practice | 13-16.30 light lunch and break | 16.30 by train to Prato/pasta fresca workshop: led by Patrizia Ferraboschi we’ll make fresh pasta and then enjoy a great meal

 

Day 4

10-13 stroll to the local market (outdoor assignment) | 13-16 free lunch and break | 16 conversation practice | 19.30 cuciniamo noi! Let’s cook our dinner!

 

Day 5

10-13 conversation practice | 13-16.30 pizza lunch and break | 16.30 (optional) by train to Lucca/foto assignment/ free evening

 

Day 6

10-13 conversation practice | 13-16.30 light lunch and break 16.30 | visit to the artisan workshops of Pistoia: meet the confetti pistoiesi | 19.30 wine tasting and dinner
